About the Kenya Space Agency

Kenya Space Agency is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Defence mandated to promote, coordinate and regulate space-related activities in the country.

The Agency is driving enhanced utilization of space services and technologies for decision support and planning, development of national space capability to support national socioeconomic development as well as promotion and nurturing of domestic space sector. The Agency also seeks to create awareness among stakeholders and the wider Kenyan public on the utility and benefits that can be derived from exploitation and exploration of space opportunities.
